Skulptūra "Man vajadzēja paklausīt mātei" (I Should Have Listened to My Mother) kalpo kā perforatīvas darbības pēda, kurā pats process ir svarīgāks par galarezultātu. Darbs tapa tieši izstādes telpā, atteikdamies no sākotnējām skicēm un strukturētiem plāniem: māls tika klāts intuitīvi, ļaujot formai dzimt no pašas veidošanas darbības. Šī organiskā, neierobežotā radīšana atklāja negaidītu, dziļi grotesku fizionomiju, kas arī izdiktēja darba nosaukumu. Tā ir vizuāla metafora jaunības dumpinieciskumam un neizbēgamajai maksa par dzīves mācībām — neatkarīgi no tā, vai skulptūra ir eksponēta iekārta gaisā vai novietota uz postamenta.

Skulptūra tika performatīvi radīta manas personālizstādes "STĀVOKLIS: NULLE" (STATE: ZERO) laikā 2026. gada janvārī.

The sculpture "I Should Have Listened to My Mother" serves as a trace of a performative act, where the process takes precedence over the final result. The work was born directly within the exhibition space, abandoning preliminary sketches and structured plans: the clay was layered intuitively, allowing the form to emerge from the act of sculpting itself. This organic, unconstrained creation revealed an unexpected, deeply grotesque physiognomy that dictated the title of the piece. It is a visual metaphor for the rebellion of youth and the inevitable cost of life’s lessons. Whether suspended in space or displayed on a pedestal.
