"Fragility – that which breaks and cracks effortlessly. Fragile ice, fragile stems, fragile flower, fragile vessel. The inherent fragility of life, of vitality, and of ourselves. How can this fragility be expressed in the language of art?

Porcelain is a narrative of fragility – a story forged by the artist and the kiln fire. I perceive porcelain as a delicate, fragile, almost ethereal material, and I strive to incorporate these sensations into my work. I continue to explore this medium – it is an endless process, and it is precisely this continuous quest that captivates me.

Nature and material speak to me with their energy, serving as an inexhaustible source of inspiration. They form the foundation for my creative practice, or rather, for the free flight of dreams.

The greatest challenge for every artist is to build upon what is already familiar and visible by offering a new interpretation.

Art is the witnessing of a miracle. First, it is revealed to the one who creates, and then to the one who perceives."

“Trauslums – tas, kas viegli lūst un plaisā. Trausls ledus, trausli stiebri, trausls zieds, trausls trauks. Apzinātie dzīves, dzīvības un savis paša trauslumu. Kā izteikt šo trauslumu mākslas valodā?

Porcelāns ir stāsts par trauslumu – stāsts, ko rada mākslinieks un rūda uguns. Porcelānu izjūtu kā smalku, trauslu, gandrīz gaisīgu materiālu, un šīs izjūtas cenšos iekļaut savos darbos. Es turpinu iepazīt šo materiālu – tas ir nebeidzams process, un tieši tāda nepārtraukta meklēšana ir tik aizraujoša.

Daba un materiāls uzrunā mani ar savu enerģiju kā neizsmeļams iedvesmas avots. Tie ir pamats manam radošajam darbam, jeb brīvajam sapņu lidojumam.

Katra mākslinieka lielākais izaicinājums ir papildināt vispārzināmo un redzēto, radot jaunu interpretāciju.

Māksla ir brīnuma ieraudzīšana. Vispirms to atklāj tas, kurš rada, un tad tas, kurš saskata.”
