Shifts, unexpected changes, visible and invisible movements, transformations revealed in ceramics and occurring naturally in nature and human life and even globally in a world.

Instability, the uncontrollable flow of time, the impermanence of the moment and the starting point of change, these are things that excite me and that draw my attention. How to sense when the very start of a new process, a turning point, a deepening contradiction begins?

With works that reflect geological, earthy forms I try to reveal not only the beauty of clay, but obviously unexpressed, deeper meanings through texture marks, incisions and cracks. In recent years, months and days not only natural cycles or shifts, but also tectonic fractures have been taking place in the world...

The exhibition presents works from the series One Year (2020-2021), Other Times (2022) and (Shifts 2023) other pieces from 2024. Sculptural ceramics will attract attention with unexpected shapes, primordiality and naturalness highlighted in chamotte clay material.

Ar darbiem, kas atspoguļo ģeoloģiskas, zemes formas, cenšos atklāt ne tikai māla skaistumu, bet acīmredzami neizteiktas, dziļākas nozīmes caur faktūras zīmēm, iegriezumiem un plaisām. Pēdējos gados, mēnešos un dienās pasaulē notiek ne tikai dabas cikli jeb nobīdes, bet arī tektoniski lūzumi...

Izstādē apskatāmi darbi no sērijām Viens gads (2020-2021), Citi laiki (2022), Pārbīdes (2023), kā arī jaunākie 2024. gada darbi. Tēlniecības keramika piesaista uzmanību ar negaidītām formām, pirmatnīgumu un dabiskumu, kas izcelts šamotēta māla materiālā.
